In today’s video, we will be reviewing something which I’ve affectionately nicknamed the big purple one. It’s always fun to remember special times. This is the Audi q4 e Tron. And in today’s video, we’re going to be looking at it in a bit more detail, working out the different battery sizes and the different packs that you can get, and seeing whether this works out as the best value all-electric family car. Okay, let’s get into it. It comes in three variations, the 35, which receives a modest 212 miles of range and starts from 40,610 pounds, the 40 and the 50 versions improve that range to over 300 miles and will cost more than 44,000. Unlike the Skoda, and yet no arrangements gain access to the current UK Government grant. However, at just under 41,000 pounds, it seems a reasonable entry price for a luxury electric SUV, unlike some electric cars that blend in with the rest of the lineup. The affordable luxury electric

They want you to know this is the electric car, and there’s no ignoring this massive front chrome grille trim levels range from the Sport and go through S line edition one and Vorsprung. While it’s an entry-level model, the Sport comes with pretty much everything you need with features such as 19-inch alloys, LED front and realize three-zone climate, electric boot lid, and 3d mapping. If you wanted to go all out and get things like matrix headlights and augmented reality Head-Up Display and sonar sound system, you’d need to upgrade to the Porsche Vorsprung. But beware, the Vorsprung has big and bling 21-inch alloy wheels, which cut the range and will cost you just shy of 54,000 pounds.
Even on the most miniature battery model standing next to it here. It’s hard to believe that this is Audi’s small family electric car. It feels massive. But then again, I guess that’s what you want from a family car. It sits between the combustion two three and the Q five. It’s on the same MEP platform that Volkswagen used for all of their electric cars, including the Volkswagen ID three and four, and also the Skoda ENIAC, it’s slightly more significant than the ID three, around the same size as the ID four and just a little bit smaller than the Skoda and Yak. For those of you who like figures, it comes in at 4.59 meters long, 1.9 meters wide, and 1.61 meters tall.

Plus, inside here, you’ll find 420 liters of boots days, which is good, and it’s pretty practical as well because if you opt for the variable boot floor, there’s a flat loading bay, which means getting suitcases in and out is very simple. Talking of bags, the Audi Q four e Tron will hold up to nine carry-ons, which is quite impressive. Underneath this boot floor, you’ll see some extra storage space for your cables or take your cords away. And you can have some extra boot space. However, not everything is brilliant in this boot. It does feel just a little bit cheap.
There are more excellent equivalent vehicles on the market. With this parcel shelf, it just feels a little old-fashioned. Collapse those receipts down, and space grows to 1490 liters when looking at the styling. There are things that I love and then things that I’m not so keen on that start with the negatives first. It’s a pretty cumbersome-looking vehicle. It’s very rectangular but rounded. I don’t think it’s tall, elegant. Also, I wouldn’t say I like this chrome and darker style chrome, almost plasticky look at the front. I think it cheapens what is otherwise a very nice car on the front with this chrome grille. Now here’s the thing I do love, and that’s the lights. How cool are those?

The driver can also switch between four digital light signatures at any time. Each of them generates its theme, a personal touch. If you agree that the Audi q4 e Tron looks a little cumbersome and you would prefer style over practicality, then perhaps this could be for you. This is the all-new Sportback version of the Audi q4 e Tron. It has that coupe style and looks much sleeker and more trendy. I guess if like me. You favor a coupe SUV, then the Q four e Tron is now available to order as A Sportback. Surprisingly, the Sportback has 15 liters more booth space than the regular car. The affordable luxury electric
But it does cost more than standard. I love the interior of the Audi Q for each one, especially in this S-line trim. It feels high quality and quite futuristic, which is precisely what I want from an electric car. This is what the BMW I x three was missing. I love this hexagonal steering wheel with a flat bottom. Now you do have to pay a little extra to get the flat-bottom steering wheel, but I think it’s well worth it. Everything feels high quality as well. You’ve got a nice bit of brushed aluminum, this gloss kind of plastic.

My only gripe is this center console. I don’t particularly like it. And, also, I don’t particularly appreciate that it’s finished in gloss black. So when you put your fingers all over it, which of course you’re going to because you touch this area all the time, it very quickly gets fingerprints on it. Something else I love, though, and that’s this volume button. And it’s great fun. It’s pretty interactive while you’re driving. And you can do it without looking at entry-level Sport models, get satellite navigation, virtual cockpit, folding mirrors, and all the things you’d expect like Bluetooth, DAV radio, and Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto.
It’s a shame that a car this size doesn’t get a rear camera standard. You’ll need to add the comfort and sound pack worth 1295 pounds or opt for the top-spec for Sprog talking of the Vorsprung. This top model gets a ten-speaker Sonos sound system, a panoramic sunroof, and an augmented reality head-up display both the 40 and the 50 version of the Q for E Tron get 125-kilowatt charging capabilities. So if you find a rapid charger on the go, you can get from zero to 80% in just 34 minutes, the entry-level 35 only accepts 100-kilowatt charging, but because the battery is smaller, it takes around the same amount of time. Now for an at-home wall box around seven kilowatts, it’s going to take about 12 hours.
